50 Year Legacy Tour (50th Anniversary)

Iconic rock band .38 Special is hitting the road on the 50 Year Legacy Tour. Fans will sing along to such iconic .38 Special hits as “Hold On,” “Back Where You Belong,” “Second Chance,” “Caught Up in You,” and many more. The Minnesota concert will take place on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 at The Ledge Waite Park Amphitheater, located in Waite Park. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and the show will begin at 7:30 PM. 

The 50 Year Legacy Tour is scheduled to visit multiple cities across the U.S. in 2026, including stops in Terre Haute, Wilmington, Pensacola, North Little Rock and Lampe. 

.38 Special

Long lasting fans will be treated to .38 Special favorites, like "Hold On Loosely", "Caught Up in You", and "Rockin' Into the Night". Based in Jacksonville, Florida since 1974, .38 Special is one of the best known Southern rock bands currently touring. The current touring members include lead guitarist and vocalist Don Barnes, keyboardist and vocalist Bobby Capps, drummer Gary Moffatt, bassist Barry Dunaway and lead and slide guitarist Jerry Riggs.

.38 Special delivers a classic blend of hard rock, R&B and boogie to audiences across the country. The critically acclaimed, all American rock band based in Los Angeles will be performing all of their hits as well as some of the new songs off of their release "Milestone", the band's first collection of all new songs in 20 years.

Along with their grueling road schedule the band has released several Gold and Platinum albums with world wide sales of over 20 million albums plus. Included in their record sales are numerous Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, many from the 80's and 90's.

The Ledge Waite Park Amphitheater Information

An outdoor venue located at 1700 Parkway Drive, Waite Park, MN 56387. Located between two of St. Cloud’s ancient quarries this offers a dramatic landscape for a nighttime event. Seating for 6,000 in amphitheater style with options for general admission for lawn/standing area, reserved box seating or raised box seating. 

Around the entertainment venues you’ll find concessions, food trucks, and picnic areas where you can purchase snacks and drinks or bring your own food and enjoy the entertainment while dining. Many of the vendors are able to process credit and debit cards. For those who need to get cash there is an ATM located near the east concessions building.

Parking Information

Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout our property. Handicapped accessible parking is available in our paved lot in reserved ADA spaces. Parking begins at 5:.m. Doors open 1 hour prior to show time. We recommend using ridesharing services for drop off and pick up from the venue.

PLEASE NOTE: NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING IS PERMITTED. All vehicles must be removed by 12 PM the following day.
